We manage and monitor the electric generation and transmission for 38 of Georgia’s electric membership corporations, which light up half the households in Georgia and cover two-thirds of the state.
Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, independent electric system operations, delivering affordable power for more than 4 million Georgians — every day, every hour.
Georgia System Operations is a not-for-profit corporation that operates on a cooperative basis. We’re member-owned and member-directed. Each EMC has a voice in how we serve them and how we operate.
